Get ready to navigate through complex labyrinths! Today, developer Absam Studios has officially launched its survival horror experience, MAZEBOUND: Hunt, Gather, Run!, on Steam. Players can pick it up for £9.09 / €10.25 / $9.99, with a 20% discount available during launch week.
The game drops players into a hostile, procedurally generated maze on a mysterious island. With no memory of how they arrived, players must follow scattered clues, gather resources, and fight their way through relentless threats to escape. Every run creates a new layout, keeping each attempt unpredictable.
Combat plays a central role, letting players equip up to three weapons at once, including axes, spears, and guns. At the same time, survival systems force players to manage hunger, willpower, and a limited inventory. A physics-based cart system adds strategy, as players must stack and transport resources carefully while staying fast enough to avoid incoming monsters.
Players can explore the maze alone or with friends, with difficulty levels that scale to support both styles. As they push deeper, the challenge ramps up, forcing tougher choices between risk and reward.
