The accolade trailer for Kena: Bridge of Spirits is finally here, celebrating the game’s arrival on the Nintendo Switch 2. Developer Ember Lab shared the new trailer to highlight the strong reception from critics, as well as the excitement among players stepping into Kena’s world alongside her charming Rot companions.
With its launch on Nintendo’s latest platform, players can now experience the full version of the game, including the previously released Anniversary DLC. This expanded edition brings in Charmstones, Spirit Guide Trials, new outfits for Kena, and additional accessibility options. The Switch 2 version also includes a New Game+ mode, allowing players to revisit the journey with all previously unlocked abilities, upgrades, and companions, while facing tougher, reworked combat encounters that add a fresh layer of challenge.
Originally released in September 2021 for PlayStation platforms, Kena: Bridge of Spirits quickly earned critical acclaim and went on to win Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards 2021. The game blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and fast-paced combat within a beautifully crafted world. Players take on the role of Kena, a young Spirit Guide, as she uncovers the mysteries of a forgotten village and helps lost spirits move on.
