SHIKA-Q World Link Tournament Is Taking Place at EVO Japan 2026

Register Now and Battle to Become the Best SHIKA-Q Player

AGNI-FLARE CO., LTD. is bringing its fast-paced puzzle battler SHIKA-Q closer to the competitive spotlight with a newly announced side event at EVO Japan 2026. The SHIKA-Q World Link Tournament is set to take place on May 3, 2026, with registrations open until May 2 at 6:00 PM JST, giving players a limited window to join the action.

Unlike traditional puzzle games, SHIKA-Q removes falling pieces entirely, focusing instead on intense 10×10 board control. Players rotate and place shaped tiles to form “Links,” creating opportunities to attack, disrupt, or recover while pushing back against opponents. Matches move at lightning speed, where even milliseconds can decide the outcome, yet smart positioning and planning remain just as important as quick reflexes.

The game also leans heavily into its music-driven identity, featuring more than 30 fully voiced tracks that sync with its arcade-style visuals and sound effects. This combination builds a high-pressure rhythm that keeps players locked into a focused, competitive flow.

Beyond PvP, SHIKA-Q offers a Challenge Mode with 99 stages designed for high-score chasers, alongside a Versus Mode that includes ranked online matches against players worldwide. Additional customization options, such as UI designs, music, and emotes, are available through its DLC Battle Pass, with more content and tournaments planned via its official YouTube channel.

Currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, the game is also in development for PC via Steam.

With its competitive ambitions growing and a major tournament debut on the horizon, SHIKA-Q is shaping up to be a title to watch in the evolving puzzle esports scene.
