Reptilian Rising Brings Time-Bending Tactical RPG to Steam and Switch On 23 April

Warp Time in Reptilian Rising

A new time-bending tactical RPG is set to arrive next month, as British studios Gregarious Games and Robot Circus, alongside publisher Numskull Games, have confirmed that Reptilian Rising will launch on April 23. The game will be available digitally on Steam and Nintendo Switch, with additional physical editions, including both regular and collector’s versions, also planned.

Blending turn-based strategy with a distinctive claymation visual style, Reptilian Rising throws players into a chaotic battle across time itself. The timeline has come under siege by a reptilian threat known as The Ouroboros, and it is up to players to assemble a roster of iconic historical figures to fight back. Characters such as Winston Churchill, Cleopatra, and Albert Einstein will take the battlefield against bizarre enemies, including weaponized dinosaurs and grotesque hybrid creatures.

The game features seven distinct time periods, each filled with tactical challenges and opportunities to recruit and upgrade heroes. Players can also manipulate time itself using special abilities, allowing them to clone units, summon reinforcements, or warp across the battlefield to gain a strategic edge.

Pricing for the digital edition starts at $29.99, with a deluxe Steam version available at $39.99 that includes a downloadable soundtrack and a visual novel eBook.

With its mix of humor, history, and inventive gameplay systems, Reptilian Rising looks to deliver a unique twist on the tactical RPG genre when it launches this April. You can already wishlist the game on both platforms to get an instant notification when it finally launches.
