A unique and thought-provoking title is arriving soon, as Space Boat Studios and PlayWay SA have confirmed that I Am Jesus Christ will officially launch on April 2. The upcoming release offers a spiritual simulation experience inspired by the New Testament, bringing a different kind of storytelling to the gaming space.
In this first-person experience, players step into Jesus Christ’s life and journey through key moments of His story, from baptism to the resurrection. The game recreates the Holy Land in detail, allowing players to explore locations such as Jerusalem and Galilee while interacting with familiar biblical figures along the way.
The gameplay blends narrative and mechanics in a way that reflects the teachings and events of the Gospel. Players can perform more than 30 miracles, including feeding the 5,000, healing the sick, restoring sight to the blind, and calming storms. These moments are woven into a larger story that unfolds across deserts, mountains, and open waters.
Prayer plays a central role in the experience, serving as a way to connect with the Holy Spirit as one progresses through the journey. Alongside this, over 60 characters appear throughout the story, including the disciples, helping recreate significant events such as the Last Supper.
With over 10 hours of gameplay, I Am Jesus Christ aims to present a respectful and immersive retelling of one of history’s most well-known narratives, offering players a reflective and story-driven experience unlike most modern releases.
