Find the Truth in Crawling Angels
A new indie horror experience has officially arrived, as Crawling Angels launches today on Steam, bringing a dark and unusual blend of physics-based gameplay and narrative mystery.
Developed by the creator behind Perfect Vermin and Brutal Orchestra, along with a collaborator from Clown Meat, Crawling Angels presents a twisted sandbox puzzle experience set in a deeply unsettling world. The game places players in a strange environment under the watch of the eerie Uncle Tontine, who claims that leaving is always an option, even though no child has ever managed to return home.
At the center of the gameplay is the so-called Forever Chicken, a ragdoll-like entity that players can manipulate using a variety of tools and equipment. Progression involves experimenting with physics interactions while solving cryptic riddles and charade-style puzzles. As players explore further, they encounter other missing children and gradually uncover fragments of a disturbing truth tied to a mysterious midnight carnival.
The experience leans heavily into atmosphere and experimentation, encouraging players to piece together its story through observation and interaction rather than direct exposition. Each playthrough is expected to last around three to four hours, with two different endings available depending on player choices and discoveries.
Crawling Angels is currently available for $9.99, with a limited-time 20% launch discount in place, offering early players a chance to step into its haunting and unconventional world at a reduced price.
