Fight Waves of Enemies in Grinding Guilds
Indie developer EndeavourDGaming has opened the Steam playtest for its upcoming incremental RPG, Grinding Guilds. Players interested in the project can now request access on Steam and take part in the game’s development journey while trying out its latest features, including a newly introduced roguelike mode.
Grinding Guilds blends elements from auto battlers, action RPGs, and idle games into a single experience. Players begin by selecting a hero and building a guild capable of taking on increasingly difficult enemies. The game supports both active and idle gameplay styles. Those who prefer a hands-on approach can directly control their hero in battle, while others can let their guild fight automatically and progress through encounters in idle mode.
Guild management plays an important role in the experience. Players can recruit dozens of allies, each equipped with unique abilities that influence how battles unfold. Building the right team composition becomes essential as enemies grow stronger across different regions.
Equipment and customization systems also offer plenty of depth. Each unit can carry up to six items that significantly boost their stats and performance in combat. In addition, every ability features its own skill tree, allowing players to upgrade and shape powers in different ways to create powerful builds.
Strategic positioning and special Pacts further influence combat. Choosing the right bonuses and unit placements can determine the outcome of difficult encounters and boss fights.
Defeating bosses unlocks new regions, allies, and crafting recipes, gradually expanding the game’s possibilities. With its mix of strategy, progression systems, and idle mechanics, Grinding Guilds offers a promising experience for fans of incremental and RPG games.
