Take Part in Various Events in THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK
Netmarble has rolled out a new in-game update for The King of Fighters AFK, introducing a new fighter along with several limited-time events for players to enjoy.
The highlight of the update is the arrival of Geese Howard, a Legendary fighter who features Fury synergy. Known for mastering ancient Japanese martial arts, Geese excels at turning his opponent’s attacks back against them. Players now have a higher chance to recruit him through the Geese Howard Pick Up Event, which runs until March 18. During this event, players can also experience his signature abilities, including Double Gale Fist and Raging Storm, both of which reflect his powerful fighting style.
Alongside Geese’s debut, multiple events are being introduced throughout March. The Fury Synergy Fighter Summon Event, available from March 5 to March 18, increases the chances of obtaining fighters with Fury synergy. The Warm Spring Check-In Event, running from March 11 to March 25, rewards players who log in during the event period with various items such as Rubies, Gold, and Premium Points.
Another limited-time activity, the School Days Event from March 11 to March 25, offers players the opportunity to unlock Geestorm, a new Legendary pet inspired by Geese Howard and Wiz. Meanwhile, the Lucky Elpy Event, scheduled from March 16 to March 20, allows players to complete missions for a chance to meet the new Legendary supporter Ripper.
Based on SNK’s The King of Fighters IP, The King of Fighters AFK reimagines iconic characters from the series with pixel art inspired by The King of Fighters R 2 on the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Players can assemble their own team by strategically building decks with between five and twenty-five fighters, creating different formations for dynamic combat.
