Join the Celebration in Super Animal Royale
Pixile Studios is celebrating the Lunar New Year in Super Animal Royale with a brand-new limited-time event called the Year of the Super Horse. Running from February 3 to February 27, the event invites players to dive into a festive version of the island packed with themed activities, decorations, and rewards.
During the event, players can take on special weekly challenges to unlock event-exclusive cosmetics and explore new Super Horse breeds available in the Research Lab. The island itself has been transformed for the occasion, featuring holiday décor, explosive firework crates, collectible red envelopes, and new NPC characters who have arrived to join the celebrations. With playful surprises scattered across the map, the event adds a fresh layer of chaos and charm to every match.
The Year of the Super Horse launches as a free update across all platforms and fully supports cross-play and cross-save, allowing players to jump in together no matter where they play. The update also delivers several quality-of-life improvements for the recently released Super Animal World expansion, including enhanced quest tracking, balance tweaks, bug fixes, and performance optimizations. These updates help prepare the game for the upcoming Major Spring Update (v2.1).
Players can also check out the newly released roadmap, which outlines future community-requested features such as UI improvements, faster matchmaking, better Social Hub grouping options, and major enhancements to core modes like Battle Royale.
Super Animal Royale and the Super Animal World expansion are available now as free updates on PC, Mac, and consoles, including Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
