Eldegarde Brings Its Fantasy World on Steam Today

Welcome to Eldegarde

Notorious Studios has officially launched its debut fantasy extraction-RPG, Eldegarde, on PC via Steam. Following a successful Early Access run, the game arrives with refined systems, expanded content, and a brand-new PvE mode designed to welcome new adventurers into its dangerous fantasy world. It is available now on the platform for just $24.99 / €24.99 / £21.99.

During Early Access, Eldegarde earned more than 3,000 Mostly Positive reviews on Steam, supported by a growing and passionate community. Player feedback played a key role in shaping the 1.0 release, helping the development team fine-tune combat, progression, and overall balance ahead of launch.

Eldegarde blends high-stakes extraction gameplay with classic RPG design. Players can choose from a roster of iconic fantasy classes, including Warrior, Rogue, Wizard, and Priest, with the Paladin joining the lineup at launch. Each class offers distinct abilities and playstyles, encouraging experimentation and strategic team compositions.

One of the biggest additions in version 1.0 is the new PvE mode. This option allows players to explore maps, practice combat, and learn core mechanics without the pressure of full-loot PvP encounters. While Eldegarde’s main experience still centers on tense PvP extractions, the PvE mode offers a more accessible way to engage with the game’s systems.

Eldegarde is developed by Notorious Studios, a team largely made up of Blizzard veterans and led by former World of Warcraft game designer Chris Kaleiki. According to Kaleiki, the game aims to push forward class design, combat, and progression while bringing the extraction formula into a fantasy RPG setting.
