An Epic Journey Awaits in DuneCrawl
The indie game developer Alientrap has announced that DuneCrawl is now available on Steam. Players can finally venture into a vivid desert world built around cooperation, exploration, and a truly unusual mode of travel. You can purchase the game for just $16.99 at a 15% launch discount until January 19th.
Designed for one to four players, DuneCrawl is an online and local co-op action adventure where players step into the boots of desert-going privateers. At the heart of the experience is the Dune Crawler. It’s a massive walking crustacean armed with powerful cannons and covered in charts pointing toward lost treasure. Players work together to pilot this living war machine across vast dust seas, balancing movement, combat, and exploration as a shared crew.
The game’s world is brought to life through lush, hand-drawn environments that contrast harsh deserts with pockets of color and life. As players journey from region to region, they gradually uncover the history and mystery behind the Dune Crawlers themselves. Along the way, towns and settlements offer quests through a range of memorable NPCs.
Combat and exploration go hand in hand in DuneCrawler. Players defend settlements from roaming bandits and hunt for hidden plunder buried beneath the sands. All while taking part in mounted sequences by riding armored scarabs. Team coordination plays a key role, whether managing the crawler’s weapons during battles or deciding how to approach objectives scattered across the landscape.
With its co-operative focus, distinctive art style, and imaginative central concept, DuneCrawl offers a shared adventure built around discovery, teamwork, and life atop a giant crustacean roaming an ever-changing desert world.
