Buffalo Buffalo has released the first major PlayStation 5 update for Fresh Tracks, bringing a wide range of improvements and refinements. The update addresses key player feedback with fixes to achievements, improved difficulty balancing, and expanded language support. To celebrate the launch, it is currently available with a 20% discount on the PlayStation Store across all regions.
Previously described by PlayStation Lifestyle as one of 2025’s most pleasant surprises, Fresh Tracks continues to evolve with this substantial update focused on polish and accessibility. Players can now experience the game in multiple new languages, including French, Spanish, German, and several others. This makes the rhythm-driven adventure more welcoming to a global audience.
Achievement hunters will be pleased to know that long-standing issues have been resolved. Players can now properly unlock the True Ending achievement and complete their journey toward Platinum. Difficulty balancing has also received attention, with adjustments across several tracks that expand both medium and hard options, offering a smoother progression for newcomers and veterans alike.
Gameplay refinements include improved shortcuts that now function as intended, faster and more responsive sword swings to better match the rhythm, and a reduced player hitbox that makes weaving through obstacles feel more fluid. Alongside these changes, the update includes a variety of general bug fixes and performance improvements.
