Meet Muffin the Puppy in Jolly Match 3 MR
After the winter-theme update last month, Jolly Match 3 MR has introduced a new weekly event called Muffin’s Treasure. It brings a warm and playful addition to the familiar match-3 experience. The event centers on Muffin, an adorable puppy who grows alongside the player’s progress. This feature turns the routine levels into a rewarding treasure hunt.
By completing match 3 stages, players earn paws that they can use to dig for hidden cookie bones across special event fields. Each completed level contributes to progress, with regular levels granting one paw, hard levels awarding three, and super hard levels providing five. These paws allow players to uncover cells within each field, with every cell requiring three taps to fully reveal what lies beneath. The goal is to find all hidden bones before moving on.
As bones are collected and fed to Muffin, the puppy grows through a series of stages. Clearing all bones on a field triggers a short transformation animation, showing Muffin growing into an older puppy before the next area opens. There are five stages in total, each offering its own set of rewards. The event bar clearly shows the progress, and players can claim the rewards immediately after completing each stage.
Muffin also adds a layer of charm through interactive animations and sounds that can trigger at any time. Helpful reminders appear after finishing levels, ensuring players never forget to dig.
Muffin’s Treasure runs for seven days, starting every Monday at 8:00 AM local time. The event unlocks after level 39 and offers a relaxed, cozy way to earn extra rewards each week while helping Muffin grow.
