Solo indie developer Rivi has announced that the Steam Store page for YUME ROOF is now live, alongside a free demo that invites players to step into its calm and creative rooftop world. The demo gives everyone a chance to experience this cozy sandbox game ahead of the full release, which is currently planned for February 2026.
The YUME ROOF Demo introduces players to the game’s open-ended creative flow through a dedicated Creative Mode. This mode places the focus entirely on designing and shaping a Japanese apartment rooftop. The demo removes restrictions and lets players experiment freely, unwind, and capture serene screenshots at their own pace. All items unlock from the start, and players can place items without limits. They can also adjust the time of day to explore different lighting moods and atmospheres.
