PIONER Shoots Onto Steam Early Access Today

Step Into the Post-Apocalyptic World of PIONER

GFA Games has released PIONER, its long-awaited post-apocalyptic MMO FPS, now available worldwide through Steam Early Access. The Standard Edition is priced at $29.99 and currently includes a limited-time 10 percent launch discount. Players can also opt for the Deluxe Edition on Steam, which adds a collection of exclusive in-game bonuses.

This Early Access launch marks the starting point for PIONER’s long-term development. The studio plans to share a detailed update roadmap in the near future. It will outline upcoming features, content drops, and live events. The first major expansion to the main storyline will arrive in early 2026, continuing to expand the game’s narrative and world.

The Deluxe Edition offers several cosmetic and progression-focused rewards. These include the exclusive Renegade armor and gear skin, a VFX-enhanced weapon skin usable across the AR-12, AR-16, and AR-16 Ifrit platforms, and an exclusive Founder title designed for social interaction. Players also receive 500 Efritanium Crystals as premium currency, the Creepy Charm weapon trinket, and the Katana Watch, a retro-futuristic gadget inspired by classic 1980s Japanese watch designs.

Set on a sprawling post-apocalyptic island shaped by the remnants of the Soviet era, PIONER presents an alternate reality built with a strong focus on atmosphere and realism. The open world spans more than 50 square kilometers and is full of hidden dungeons, story-driven quests, and faction-based missions. Blending narrative exploration with high-stakes PvE and PvP combat, the game places player choice at the center. This will allow them to directly shape both the world and its evolving social landscape.
