Electronic Arts Inc. and Full Circle have launched Skate., the newest chapter in the acclaimed skateboarding franchise, in Early Access today. The game is available across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA App. This free-to-play title supports full cross-platform play and cross progression, inviting both seasoned players and newcomers to join the ride. Early Access marks just the start, with continuous updates and fresh content planned to shape the game alongside its growing community.

Set in San Vansterdam, a dynamic, ever-changing open world, Skate. offers a sprawling multiplayer experience. Creativity and style are at the heart of every trick in this game. The city is divided into four diverse neighborhoods, each featuring its own atmosphere, terrain, and iconic skate spots. Rooftops, canals, plazas, parks, and even a transformed cathedral create endless opportunities for exploration and self-expression.

To showcase this vibrant world, EA released the live-action trailer “Drop In”. It transforms a simple DIY skate video into a surreal journey through San Vansterdam. The trailer captures the spirit of the game as anyone can skate anything, unexpected riders can appear at any moment, and the city becomes a limitless canvas for impossible tricks. It is an invitation for players to carve out their own stories and leave their mark on the community.

The beloved Flick-it control system makes a triumphant return, enhanced for greater precision and deeper gameplay. New off-board movement expands the experience further. This allow players to climb higher, drop lower, and uncover secret skate spots throughout the city.

Skate. is available now for free, with optional cosmetic purchases. Players can also purchase the Founder’s Pack or the Founder’s Deluxe Pack to show off their early support.
