Become a Diver in Starlight Re:Volver
Pahdo Labs, an indie studio formed by veterans of Capcom, WayForward, and Riot Games, has officially launched Starlight Re:Volver into Early Access on Steam. Priced at $19.99 with a limited-time discount, the co-op roguelite arrives on the heels of its strong showing at Steam Next Fest, where it ranked among the festival’s Top 10 Most Played demos.
Starlight Re:Volver blends fast-paced roguelite action with the charm of anime-inspired worlds. Designed for one to four players, it invites adventurers known as Divers to connect in the bustling hub of Nishi Island Metropolis (NIM) before venturing into So Mi, the surreal dream realms that power the city. With mysterious devices called ReVolvers, players can leap between NIM and So Mi, uncovering treasures, battling enemies, and shaping their journey through exploration, fishing, crafting, and lighthearted minigames.
The works of manga legends Naoko Takeuchi and Rumiko Takahashi deeply influenced the game. It also draws inspiration from the golden era of the 90s and 2000s anime and games. Its bright, stylized combat reflects that influence and turns each encounter into a dazzling spectacle. Beyond the action, players can customize their Diver’s appearance and abilities, tailoring builds to match their personal playstyle or to synergize with co-op teammates.
By fusing the social appeal of classic online RPGs with the unpredictable intensity of roguelites, Starlight Re:Volver aims to capture both nostalgia and novelty. For Pahdo Labs, the launch marks not just a milestone for the studio but also an invitation for players to step into a universe where reality bends, dreams take shape, and every adventure feels like a story waiting to be told.
