Habbo, one of the earliest and most iconic online virtual worlds, is officially turning 25. To celebrate, the #Habbo25 anniversary event is now live across all Hotels, offering a month filled with nostalgia, new content, and community-driven fun.
First launched in 2000, Habbo quickly became a cultural touchstone of online interaction. From pixel-perfect furniture and legendary quests to community-made rooms that defined an era. It also shaped how millions connected in a shared digital space. Today, Habbo continues to evolve while holding onto the charm that made it a classic.
The anniversary brings with it a mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions. Players can once again recycle old items with the return of the Furni-Matic, now joined by the new Collecti-Matic for collectible-specific trades. A highlight of the celebration is a brand new player-made public room, Pool Party, Day & Night, which dynamically shifts between day and night through advanced in-game logic.
Habbo also debuts its first-ever animated clothing, including a playful floating balloon hat, alongside the re-release of iconic items like the Black Throne in a fresh colorway, the Ducky Vending Machine, and Silver 25 Balloons with hidden surprises.
