Snowboarding Mayhem Awaits in Slopecrashers
Prepare yourself for some adrenaline-fueled racing experience! Byteparrot is launching Slopecrashers, its chaotic arcade snowboarding racer, on Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on August 7 for $17.99. Players can race across platforms with full cross-play support between consoles and Steam.
Slopecrashers throws you into fast-paced races inspired by classic kart and snowboarding games. With a custom physics engine built for momentum-based movement, the game lets you pull off tricks, chain stunts, and blast through slopes using gadgets like jetpacks, gliders, and grappling hooks.
Choose from a crew of cartoon animals like lemurs, capybaras, penguins, and parrots, and hit the slopes with everything from snowboards to frying pans. You can play locally with up to four players, even in the campaign, or join online races with up to eight competitors.
Byteparrot featured Slopecrashers at ZLAN 2024 and even showcased it at major gaming events. The game even got over a million views on TikTok. The campaign follows a vengeful hamster as you race through seven themed worlds, including snowfields, tropical jungles, and neon cities. Each world offers multiple tracks and event types, including slalom runs, stunt shows, and boss battles.
You can unlock new boards, gliders, grappling hooks, costumes, and hats. Tinker with arcade mode, try different difficulty settings, and choose from several speed classes to match your play style. Whether you race alone or with others, Slopecrashers delivers wild, physics-driven fun with style and humor.
Race your way to the top, fight off bees and pigeons, and find out if a turtle can become a snowboard. The slopes open on August 7. So, get ready to crash.
