Face Waves of Enemies in Desktop Defender
Conradical Games has teamed up with publisher Poysky Productions to unveil their latest project, Desktop Defender. This idle auto-battler quietly runs in the corner of your screen, letting you defend your desktop while focusing on other tasks. The game will launch on PC via Steam on October 31, 2025.
Desktop Defender blends passive gameplay with strategic depth. Players guide a single tower as it fights off endless waves of enemies. As you earn XP and level up, you unlock permanent upgrades, collect powerful loot, and find new weapons to strengthen your tower. Enemy waves drop rare gear with massive bonuses, letting you craft unique and powerful builds.
Progress does not stop with one run. You can reset your game to earn a currency called Ascendium, which unlocks upgrades that carry over into future runs. With each ascension, your tower becomes even stronger.
The game is designed to be non-intrusive. It runs in a compact window that players can resize or reposition to fit any setup. Whether you want to remain fully idle or take an active role in defending, the choice is yours.
With its unique blend of idle mechanics, roguelike progression, and minimalist presence, Desktop Defender offers a new way to play while you work, browse, or unwind. It is a small game with big potential, always on and never in the way.
