Join the Adventure in Old Skies
Wadjet Eye Games has brought its time travel adventure Old Skies to the Nintendo Switch. Originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in April, this story-rich title is now available on the Switch eShop for $19.99 (or equivalent), with a 10% launch discount running through June 3.
Designed by Wadjet Eye founder Dave Gilbert, Old Skies follows Fia Quinn, an agent for the ChronoZen Time Travel Agency. Her job is to escort paying clients across eras while ensuring they do not disrupt history. But what starts as routine oversight turns into something far more personal. Players guide Fia through seven missions set across 200 years of New York City history, from Prohibition-era speakeasies to the eve of 9/11.
The game blends science fiction storytelling with classic point-and-click mechanics. Players must solve puzzles, avoid paradoxes, and sometimes even face death to set things right, repeating missions as necessary. It is a tightly woven journey through time with a focus on atmosphere, choices, and consequences.
Old Skies is Gilbert’s first original project since 2018’s Unavowed, a supernatural adventure that also takes place in a stylized version of New York. While the two games are not directly connected, fans will notice shared locations, characters, and Easter eggs. As a bonus for both newcomers and longtime players, Unavowed is currently 20% off on the Nintendo Switch eShop through June 3.
