Headup has partnered up with developers Simon Jakobsson and Aurora Punks to publish Vessels of Decay, a post-apocalyptic action-adventure set to launch this summer on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. This retro-inspired journey follows Freja and Mud as they navigate a world shaped by Scandinavian myths and the remnants of a fallen civilization. Players can explore this world now through a free playtest on Steam.
Vessels of Decay is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game featuring a dynamic combat system. It gives players full control over how they engage enemies and how those enemies meet their ends. Staggering foes open the door for stylish finishing moves, each tailored to the creature at hand. Boss encounters unfold in multiple stages, challenging players to adapt and outmaneuver legendary beasts drawn from Scandinavian folklore.
