Explore Colorful Planets in Cubic Odyssey
Gaijin Entertainment and Atypical Games have announced that Cubic Odyssey is coming out on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2025. This open-world adventure invites players to explore vibrant planets, craft tools, build vehicles, and take on diverse quests. All while battling against the Red Darkness in an epic story.

The game begins with a crash landing on a distant planet. Players gather resources, craft tools, and build everything from small outposts to massive starships for exploring the galaxy. Every star in the sky leads to a unique star system. It has planets full of life, dynamic day-night cycles, NPC cities, pirate hideouts, and ancient ruins to uncover. The journey revolves around stopping the Red Darkness, a galactic infection that mutates wildlife, consumes planets and endangers all life.
It also offers smooth movement across land, sky, and space, showcased briefly in the announcement trailer. Jump between star systems at warp speed, zip between planets, ride planetary speeders, and explore caves on foot. Team up with others in optional co-op mode to battle giant foes, launch orbital laser strikes, or create massive structures together.
