HOLE Is Shooting Its Way to Steam on 29 November 2024

Join the Action in HOLE

The Japanese indie game developer NEGAFISH has announced that their upcoming title, HOLE is coming to Steam on 29 November. It is a fast-paced, single-player FPS with low-resolution graphics and intense gunfights. Take a look at the official gameplay trailer below.

In HOLE, you will step into a chaotic battleground where different factions clash. Your goal is to defeat enemies, gather supplies, and make your escape. As time goes on, enemies grow stronger. If you’re not careful, they’ll quickly surround you, making it hard to escape. You’ll face the choice of taking safe moves or jumping into intense gunfights. Play the way that suits you. Plus, you can collect items to boost your stats, unlock new weapons, and customize your gear.

The game combines casual and hardcore elements, allowing players to easily jump back into action without losing equipment. A few bullets can end the game, adding tension, while unpredictable NPCs and jammed guns keep the experience exciting.

Players need to clear jams and reload their guns while still fighting, making gun handling an essential part of the gameplay. The developers created the stages as maze-like structures, set in eerie liminal spaces that evoke a sense of unease. Mysterious phenomena fill these environments, adding to the chilling atmosphere and making each moment feel unpredictable and intense.
