Developer Skyreach Studio and publisher Freedom Games are delighted to announce the release date for their upcoming title Critter Crops. It will be launching on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on 15 April 2024. Moreover, a free demo is already available on Steam for everyone to get a firsthand experience of the game before its official launch.
Critter Crops is an immersive farming simulator RPG that takes place in an enchanting colorful world. Players will embark on a magical journey with the protagonist Sylvia. She is a young witch who got expelled from her hometown due to her extraordinary magical abilities. Soon she arrives on Mutter Island and comes across a land full of mystery and in desperate need of restoration.
Sylvia is also capable of growing magical critter crops that will aid her in restoring the land to its former glory. Each crop possesses distinct magical traits, from healing herbs to elemental plants and, elusive creatures. Explore the isometric world filled with lush landscapes, mystical forests, and ancient ruins.
As the game progress, she will meet various whimsical creatures, both friendly and mischievous, that inhabit the island. Some of them will help her in her quest while others present challenges that require clever solutions and magical prowess.
The game features a compelling storyline with Sylvia uncovering the secrets of the island, while nurturing the crops. The seamless blend of RPG elements with farming management allows players to customize and expand the farms however they please.
