A Magical Adventure Awaits
Creating magical potions isn’t just a craft anyone can do. Yet, when you get good at it, you better get really good. You never know when that magic can help you solve some puzzles or earn some respect. At least in this young witch’s case. Today, developer Stumbling Cat is happy to announce the release date for their upcoming potion-crafting adventure, Potions: A Curious Tale. Releasing on March 7th, the game invites players to become a young witch learning all about her magical prowess at developing potions. Combining adventure and ingredient gathering, players will be able to make all kinds of creative potions. A new trailer gives players a look at what’s brewing in the game.
Potions: A Curious Tale introduces players to Luna. A young witch for a penchant for potion-crafting, Luna will embark on a journey across many biomes each with their own folktale twist. Of course, her goal is to collect new ingredients to make different kinds of magical potions. Interestingly, the game draws from folklore from all over the world. This means players will be running into monsters from various creatures from Greek, African, Norse, and more folklore.
“I’ve always wanted to create a game that inspires young women into becoming whatever they set their hearts out to be,” says Renee Gittins, creative director at Stumbling Cat in a press release, “I hope Potions: A Curious Tale can help them achieve their dreams and also serves to inspire people to learn more about diverse cultures through the folklore and fairytales we featured in it.”
