And Stay Dead
The final chapter to Illfonic’s Friday the 13th game is upon us. It was almost three years ago that support for the game would be halted. Since then, it would limp on while the player base wilted. As a final farewell, the development team is unlocking all the content in the game.
Other games to meet their unfortunate end, like Marvel’s Avengers, have released all their cosmetic content in their final update. Illfonic’s final update will be doing the same with all the unlockables. The reason for this is to reduce dependency on database servers.
All online progression in Friday the 13th will be out the window. According to the patch notes, all players will automatically reach level 150. All matches will also no longer reward XP, since players will all be maxed out. All Challenge Skulls and kill animations will also be unlocked.
To help reduce the dependence on database servers, the following changes will be made for all players on Thursday, July 6th. pic.twitter.com/pd9pt36kdy

There will also be 30 Legendary Perks awarded to all players. These perks are the most popular, have the best possible rolls, and have no negative effects. Matchmaking will remain active for the foreseeable future. These changes will take place on July 6th. They could have made it fall on Friday the 7th, but not everything works out the way we want it.
Friday the 13th: The Game is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
