Hogwarts Legacy Will Release On Switch In Mid November
The Harry Potter universe has a massive fanbase, and gamers have been patiently waiting to jump into an authentic Harry Potter video game experience. Warner Bros Studios along with developer Avalanche Software launched Hogwarts Legacy earlier this year to a ton of fanfare. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox One as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X/S. The companies have now confirmed that the game will release on the Nintendo Switch on November 14th.
Via its official Twitter, the company stated, “Hogwarts Legacy launches on Nintendo Switch on 11/14/23. We know fans are looking forward to playing on Switch, therefore creating the best possible experience is our top priority. Thank you for your patience. Available now on PS5 & PS4, Xbox X|S & Xbox One, and PC.” Therefore, the company is working on ensuring that the best experience is delivered for Nintendo users. Moreover, given the game’s graphical demands, they may need some extra work for it to run smoothly on the platform.
Despite controversies at launch due to J.K. Rowling’s alleged statements, the game has soared to success. Recently, Avalance Software confirmed that it hit over one billion in sales since its release. Fans can only expect that with the game’s success, Hogwarts Legacy 2 must be in the works. In the game, players enjoy an interesting story through Hogwarts, where they meet several cool characters, uncover a mystery and engage in combat against many mythical creatures.
