Aftermath throws players into a chaotic environment with a crash. A traumatic event has devastated humanity and fragmented Earth. Aftermath tells the story of Charlie Gray, a former European astronaut and engineer. Following a reentry to Earth gone wrong, Charlie struggles to adjust. Now faced with the broken remnants of the world she once knew, Charlie must desperately search for her daughter.
As Charlie searches for her daughter in the desolate wreckage, she must also avoid mysterious zombie-like creatures who are hunting her down. Set to an intense original soundtrack, Aftermath promises to be a heart-pounding thriller, keeping players on edge. The game will keep you guessing what these creatures are and how Earth can be saved. Aftermath mixes the personal struggle of Charlie with the global struggle that placed Earth in turmoil.
Players must master new crafting and combat systems to survive. As they search for Charlie’s daughter, players will need to maintain their physical and mental health as well as their stamina.
Aftermath is set for release on PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2022. Until then, we will need to wait for more information and insight into this mysterious world. Players will wonder what brought humanity to its knees.
