Expansive Bronze Age RPG The Way of Wrath Coming to Switch and PC in 2022
Today, Hooded Horse revealed they will be taking over the publishing for The Way of Wrath in an announcement trailer earlier today.
The upcoming RPG is set during the Bronze Age. In the game, players will work to prepare their fortress to withstand an attack from an enemy army. Following an earlier defeat, players must work to unite their people and rebuild their fort to withstand this new threat.
The Way of Wrath throws players into a large game world with a lot to do. They can sabotage enemy camps, find new allies and gather resources over a 10-day in-game period. To prepare your fort, The Way of Wrath offers an intricate social system. This system includes hunting for supplies and creating resource camps. As for finding allies, the RPG features a deep diplomacy system where players can turn neighbouring tribes into allies or enemies.
In addition to featuring a full character creation suite, every other charatcer the player encoutners will have an in-depth life with routines and relationshops directly affected by the player and their actions. This creates a dynamic sotryline where players will see the direct result of their actions.
As players navigate these storylines, they must ensure they are still assembling their fort. This all culminates in a massive finale that will show the player if they have successfully prepared to defend their village and people.
