Welcome to Beef City
The ridiculous party game Gang Beasts is now available on the Nintendo Switch, so you can grab and throw your friends on the go. It is a fun game and can be chaotic depending on how you and your friends play. Personally, I think it is more fun when you are trying to mess with your friends.
You can get Gang Beasts today digitally, but a sticker-filled physical edition is set to launch on December 7th, 2021.
So, what is Gang Beasts? Gang Beast is a multiplayer party game set in the mean streets of Beef City with surly gelatinous characters, brutal slapstick fight sequences, and absurd hazardous environments. Players customize their character and fight local and online enemies in the melee game mode or fight with friends against the gangs of Beef City in gang game mode.
After a number of years brawling across multiple digital platforms and trucking onto physical storefronts, Gang Beasts on Nintendo Switch includes 21 hazardous stages, hundreds of colorful costume customizations, and multiple local, online, and local wireless multiplayer game modes for up to 8 players.
You can get the digital version today for $29.99 / €29,99 / £24.99. The physical edition will launch on December 7th for $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99. I don’t really know why the physical edition is more expensive. That’s pretty rare. I know it comes with stickers, but I’m not sure that it is worth an extra $5. As someone who only really plays digitally, it certainly isn’t going to change my mind.
Gang Beasts is an incredibly fun game, and frankly, it is about time it comes to the Nintendo Switch. The Switch is the perfect party machine as it is easy to take anywhere you go, so it is easy to set up an area to play with friends. For $29.99, you will easily get your money’s worth if you are playing with friends.
