Two Months of Premium Plus To Sweeten The Deal
The upcoming Xbox Game Pass Ultimate package is looking like a better deal every dang day. First they added EA Play, now this? Also the whole ‘lease a console’ thing. All told, the Xbox subscription service is looking like an easy choice to make.
If you’re unfamiliar with Funimation, the service offers a whole bunch of anime (either subbed or dubbed) for a modest monthly fee. Shows like My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Dr. Stone, and One Piece are all in one place, along with a stack of others I’m presently forgetting. It’s only a $16 USD savings, but it’s also a lot of content.
Finally, the Ultimate package will be a gateway to actually owning an Xbox Series X/S. There’s a two-year commitment involved, but that’s likely a minor impediment when a console is on the line. So to recap, you’d be getting a console, access to 100 games, whatever’s on the EA dashboard, and a massive catalog of anime. All for something in the neighborhood of $35 USD a month. Or maybe $25 if you don’t mind getting the less chonky version of the console. I might… I might actually buy an Xbox console this holiday?
