Prepare to Start GrindingÂ
April 28th is going to mark a significant update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. These updates are going to affect both the vanilla game along with Warzone. So there is going to be a little bit of something for everyone. Infinity Ward has done a very good job with keeping to their promise of having Call of Duty become a “live service.” Modern Warfare has been the recipient of the most free content by a country mile when compared to other games in the series.
The first major change is going to be with the gunsmith. Weapon customization is going to be further expanded on than before. That means more options and more freedom to create the perfect weapon that suits your unique playstyle. New master skins are going to be added to the game. Called obsidian, this rare camo is supposed to be harder to get ahold of than Damascus. From what it sounds like, this skin is going to be reserved for only the most hardcore Call of Duty fans. On top of that, you will now be able to mix and match weapons that exist as blueprints. So if you like the look of a blueprint weapon but do not like the attachments, you can add your own flavor to make it more to your liking.
As for Warzone, a new and very challenging contract will be added. Called “most wanted”, this new bounty contract will test the survival ability of anyone who is brave or crazy enough to try it. This contract will make whoever picks it up the bounty target of every other player in the game. If you are somehow able to survive dozens of teams all descending on you and your friends at once, you will be rewarded with an obscene amount of cash. Not to mention that you will be able to redeploy all of your dead teammates if you are able to pull this off. Very high risk, very high reward.
