Rainbow Six Siege: Void Edge Really Packs a Punch With New Operators

We Can Now Finally Play as the Kool-Aid Man and Uma Thurman

2020 is now in full swing and that means new operators for Rainbow Six Siege. Void Ege is going to be the first sample of what Ubisoft has in store for players this year. As per usual, there are going to be two new playable operators that are going to become available to those who have bought the season pass or who intend to buy the new characters separately. The new operators that come with Void Edge are certainly some of the more interesting additions as of late.

Rainbow Six Siege

The first operator is a defender called Oryx. This guy can essentially be described as the Kool-Aid dude as his special ability allows him to literally burst through soft surfaces. If there are any enemies on the other side of that wall they will be momentarily stunned and an easy kill for the player. This new ability can be used in a variety of different ways but mostly to flank attackers or to get an easy kill on an unsuspecting bomb planter. Oryx’s charge can also be used to stun and knock over shied operators. People like Blitz, Kapkan, and Montagne are going to have a lot of trouble dealing with Oryx. It should also be mentioned that Oryx can leap through hatches like Spiderman.

The second operator that we will be getting is a new attacker called Iana. She has a very interesting ability to create a controllable hologram of herself. This can of course be used as a great way to gather intelligence on the enemy team. Her hologram can not deliver any damage to defenders, but once you know where the other team is hiding, it will not be hard to weed them out.

Void Edge is also introducing a reworked version of Oregon.
