Sledgehammer Co-Founder’s 2K Studio Has A New Name

This New Name Is a Bit Odd

A recently discovered trademark filing has seemingly revealed the new name of the 2K studio that’s being headed by Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey. The original name of his studio was 2K Silicon Valley but now the new name appears to be 31st Union.

31st Union

Initial reporting confused this new name with a new studio but if one takes a look at 2K Silicon Valley’s Twitter page, they’ll see a banner image for the profile that seems to depict a 31st Union logo. Also, the latest tweet from the profile reads, “Under construction…“.

As for what exactly this studio has been working on since Condrey joined it last year, a recent investor call with 2K parent company Take-Two Interactive hinted that the studio’s project would be revealed “in the coming months.”
