Every Console Needs a Comparison Chart
When you’re the best on the block, sometimes you really just want to broadcast the fact. Well, here it is, Microsoft going a step further with their console comparisons. Review versions of the Xbox One X come with a book detailing its power over the competition.
Screenshots of the Xbox One X promotional book were posted online. It clarifies the difference in power between Sony’s own upgraded console, the PS4 Pro, and the Xbox One X. It even highlights the differences between the base PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One S. Thus, Microsoft has officially delivered proof of the most powerful console in writing. See the differences for yourself.
We have gone back and forth, discussing the capabilities of the Xbox One X. Back when it was still the “Scorpio,” we knew it contained 6 Teraflops of power. Because of said power, it has been advertised as “the most powerful console in the world.” Xbox Chief Phil Spencer didn’t lie back when he announced the purpose of the Scorpio back in 2016:
“Project Scorpio will be the first console with 6 teraflops of power, which will empower the world’s greatest game creators to fully embrace true 4K gaming without sacrificing quality, generate premier VR experiences, without sacrificing performance, and putting greater graphic fidelity in the hands of the world’s best game creators.”
Experience the Xbox One X on November 7th. Just yesterday, we got another tase of its resolution with the 4K trailer for LA Noire. Expect much more such previews leading up to release and beyond.
Happy gaming.
