Developer Zordix has unveiled a new video at GDC that presents a new look at their latest game, Aqua Moto Racing Utopia. It shows off two wet ‘n wild racing environments that look like a pretty challenging onstacle-filled ride. Check out the action below:
The clip also gives us a good look at the first person view, which really feels immersive and makes you wonder if Zordix wouldn’t be better off developing this for VR instead of the Wii U and PS4.
The two environments are called Eastern Canals and Tropical Islands (yeah, not very original, but whatever). Eastern Canal is described by Zordix as a tight course requiring precision driving. Tropical Islands, fittingly, is more open and relaxed, but offers up more wave action.
Aqua Moto Racing Utopia was announced for the PS4 and Wii U in November 2015. It does not have an exact release date yet. Stay tuned here for any more details. For more info on the game, check out their website here.
