Of course, this is only the beginning. Bethesda has plans for more than $60 worth of new Fallout adventures and features all throughout 2016.
Given the expanded DLC plan, the price of the season pass will see an increase from the current $29.99 to $49.99 USD on March 1st 2016. However, those who have already purchased the season pass, will get the full $60 offering of add-on content. In addition, if you haven’t bought the season pass yet, there’s still time, so be sure to grab it before the increase hits at the beginning of next month.
Want a chance to play the add-ons early? You can apply for the closed betas for each of the of the new add-ons for console and PC by visiting their official website. In order to apply, all you need to do is create a registered account and in the upcoming weeks, applicants will be randomly selected to receive a code to redeem the content. The beta is the full version, chock full with the complete achievement list, and those participating will not have to purchase the add-ons.
Beyond add-ons, Bethesda will continue to offer free updates to the game, including new features like the recent weapon debris for PC, and increased draw distance for consoles, as well as optimization to gameplay and quests. You can expect to see a complete overhaul of Survival mode that will change how you play the whole game. And those looking forward to the creation kit can expect to see that soon which will allow players to mod absolutely free. Both Survival mode and Creation kits are both currently under testing.
More importantly, Bethesda would just like to say thank you for the support!
