Today the Final Fantasy Portal App, the all-inclusive information platform for all things Final Fantasy, turns one years old today! In celebration of it’s global anniversary for the ultimate fan destination, Square Enix is offering the classic RPG, Final Fantasy II as a free download via the portal app’s “App list” until February 14th.
Not sure what the Final Fantasy Portal App is? Well, it’s a general information app for all things related to Final Fantasy, where you can also view information on games, books, merchandise, events and much more. It employs a point system where by logging in through your Square Enix account, you can acquire points to exchange for various items. It’s easy to gain points just by doing simple things such as logging in daily, viewings news, videos and other FF topics. Now comes the fun part, you can exchange these points such as wallpapers for your smartphone! The app also has a fun card game you can play called “Triple Triad”.
