Addressing Player Feedback and Enhancing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s Visuals
Square Enix has announced plans to release a patch for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth aimed at enhancing the graphics of its Performance Mode, responding to player feedback and aiming to further refine the gaming experience.
Naoki Hamaguchi, the director of Rebirth, shared insights with One More Game regarding the primary feedback the studio has received, particularly concerning the graphics in Performance Mode, which prioritizes a consistent frame rate. Hamaguchi acknowledged the feedback, stating, “We hear you, and we are currently working on an update patch to improve that aspect. I don’t think the release date would be far away from now.”
The upcoming patch will specifically address concerns regarding the lighting on character faces in certain parts of Rebirth. Hamaguchi mentioned, “We have heard from players that in certain situations, the facial lighting makes some character shadows look very scary. So that’s one part of the update that we are working on.”
Despite Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s recent launch on February 29, graphical issues have emerged, including concerns raised during the demo released earlier in February. Square Enix responded by implementing “minor graphical fixes” and other adjustments, ensuring a smoother experience for players in the full game release.
From stunning visual effects to smoother gameplay mechanics, every aspect of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has aimted to be carefully polished and fine-tuned to deliver an experience that is as immersive as it is exhilarating. Whether embarking on a thrilling quest to save the planet or engaging in heart-pounding battles against formidable foes, players can rest assured that their journey through the world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be nothing short of unforgettable.
With its impressive blend of action-RPG gameplay and breathtaking world-building, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth promises to be a gaming experience like no other, especially with this upcoming patch.
