Today begins Konami’s scheduled weekly roster updates for PES 2016, ensuring that the stats of the game’s many stars reflect that of their real-life counterparts.
The weekly updates are designed to ensure the many statistics for players within PES 2016 tie in with the performances of their real-life counterparts. Thus, players who are performing strongly will have their various abilities raised, while others will be slightly downgraded to show a dip in form. A major, free Download Pack will supplement the weekly updates at the end of October, which will refresh all summer transfers and team rosters across all modes. The Download Pack will also update player faces as well.
PES 2016 sees Konami celebrating the series’ 20th anniversary. Having been voted ‘Best Sports Game’ for the second year running by the gamescom judging panel, the series’ heritage is appropriately celebrated in PES 2016’s ‘Love The Past, Play The Future’ tagline. This message perfectly illustrates the series’ return to core PES values of truly mimicking the ebbs and flow of a top-level match, while introducing the many new gameplay and presentational elements that have seen critics and soccer fans alike hail PES 2016 as the definitive soccer experience.
