The Next Chapter of Dark Pals: The 1st Floor Is on Its Way
Skunx Games is taking players even deeper into its bizarre mascot-horror world with Dark Pals: The 2nd Floor, the upcoming DLC expansion for Dark Pals: The 1st Floor. The original game became a huge hit online, racking up more than one billion views across videos, livestreams, and social media in just two months.
The sequel picks up right where the first game left off, sending players down into a destroyed underground facility that has sat abandoned for more than 40 years. Its creepy halls are packed with old equipment and disturbing remnants of “the raid,” giving players plenty of clues about what happened to the facility and the people trapped inside.
But the deeper players go, the stranger things become. A mysterious member of D.A.R.K. will cross their path, opening the door to more secrets surrounding D.A.R.K., UpWard, and the real reason the player has returned.
Of course, the sequel wouldn’t be Dark Pals without plenty of chaos. Players will encounter new creatures, continue their journey alongside Inky, the squid plush gun, and attempt to survive the terrifying Devourer while searching for a route to the 3rd Floor. Skunx Games says the sequel has somehow managed to become even more insane than the first game.
Dark Pals: The 2nd Floor is currently in development and is targeting a 2027 release. If you thought the first floor was terrifying, it looks like things are about to get a whole lot worse.
