Build Your Dream Farm in Coral Island
Coral Island is bringing its cozy farming life to Nintendo Switch 2 this winter, and it won’t be arriving alone. Stairway Games and Balor Games announced the upcoming release during The MIX Fall Showcase, confirming that the game will launch alongside the free 1.4 “Kids Grow Up” Update.
The Switch 2 version will let players build their dream island life, whether they’re tending crops, raising animals, exploring underwater locations, or getting to know the locals. Players can also team up with up to four friends in multiplayer, protect the island’s environment, explore the magical Merfolk Kingdom, and even start a family.
However, the biggest news comes with the free 1.4 update, which adds a new chapter to the game’s family experience. Players who have children will finally get to watch them grow up, develop their own hobbies, and show off their individual interests. The neighborhood kids will also grow older, bringing fresh stories and interactions to Starlet Town.
The update isn’t exclusive to the upcoming Switch 2 release, either. PC players on Steam, along with those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, will receive the free content update at the same time.
Coral Island is already available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version scheduled to arrive this winter.
For longtime players, watching their virtual families grow up could be a welcome reason to return to the island. Meanwhile, Switch 2 owners will soon get their own chance to settle down, build a farm, and discover everything Coral Island has to offer.
