Soulstonia Announced as a Cozy RPG Where Summoners Live and Explore on Their Own

Your Summoners Have a Life of Their Own in Soulstonia

What if your RPG characters didn’t just stand around waiting for you to tell them what to do? That’s the idea behind Soulstonia, a new cozy idle RPG simulation from Gabriel’s Games where your Summoners can go off and live their own little lives.

Currently in development for PC and Mac, Soulstonia gives players the freedom to directly control their Summoners, gather the party for adventures, or simply leave them alone to see what they get up to. When unsupervised, characters can explore nearby areas, collect resources, train their skills, and pursue activities based on their abilities and surroundings.

Soulstonia

The world itself is different with every new save. Soulstonia procedurally generates its five regions, changing the locations of settlements, roads, resources, enemies, and points of interest. As players push through the fog of war, they’ll gradually uncover new opportunities and threats.

Things won’t always go according to plan, either. Changing weather, roaming enemies, shifting resources, and world events can shake up the world and force players to adapt.

There are more than 20 combat, crafting, and collection skills to master, ranging from Fishing and Woodcutting to Thieving, Smithing, Magic, and Summoning. Players can also use Soulstones to summon creatures that fight and gather resources alongside their adventurers. Adding even more personality to the party are different species, traits, equipment, skills, and personal dreams, giving every Summoner their own strengths and priorities.

Soulstonia will launch first in Steam Early Access before receiving its full 1.0 release. It will be free to play, with optional supporter and digital content planned separately.

For players who enjoy watching their RPG worlds evolve without constantly micromanaging every move, Soulstonia looks like one worth keeping an eye on.
