Forge Your Own Legend in Pierce Through Heavens
Purple Yang Studio has announced that its upcoming open-world multiplayer xianxia RPG, Pierce Through Heavens, will take part in the Steam China Multiplayer Games Fest 2026.
Inspired by Chinese mythology and xianxia literature, Pierce Through Heavens drops players into a shattered world where ancient demon gods have taken control after humanity’s immortals sealed away the devils. Players will have to explore this dangerous land, gather valuable resources, master martial arts, and work toward becoming an immortal.
The game puts a strong focus on exploration and cultivation. Players can venture into forbidden lands to discover spirit stones and ancient herbs, while hunting spiritual beasts for materials used to improve their equipment and abilities. Alchemy also plays an important role, allowing cultivators to create powerful pills and elixirs that accelerate their progression or can be traded with other players.
Players can also establish their own immortal abodes, creating personal sanctuaries where they can craft gear, refine resources, and cultivate in relative safety. For those who prefer playing alongside others, the game features Sects and Clans, cooperative hunts, and challenging world bosses.
Of course, reaching immortality will not be easy. Players must overcome Heavenly Tribulations and break through increasingly difficult cultivation realms.
