Your Weapons Await in Mycopunk
Mycopunk is officially ready for its biggest mission yet. Developer Pigeons at Play and publisher Devolver Digital have announced that the chaotic sci-fi co-op shooter will leave Steam Early Access and launch in version 1.0 on October 20 for PC and PlayStation 5 at $14.99. Even better, PS5 players will be able to jump in through PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
After spending more than a year in Early Access, Mycopunk has evolved into one of the most distinctive co-op shooters around, thanks to its relentless action, bizarre humor, and wildly customizable weapons. Now, the full release is bringing its biggest content update yet.
Players join a ragtag cleanup squad sent to the moon of New Atlas, where a mysterious fungal infestation has turned the surface into a nightmare. Armed with outrageous futuristic weapons, you’ll carve through massive enemy hordes. All while upgrading your arsenal using the game’s standout grid-based weapon customization system. The deeper you experiment, the more absurdly powerful your sci-fi creations become.
The action doesn’t stop there. Enemies can rebuild themselves by scavenging severed mechanical parts, forcing squads to stay coordinated and adapt on the fly. Between missions, players can unwind aboard the H.U.B. dropship, packed with mini-games, hidden secrets, and plenty of playful distractions. Version 1.0 also adds new guns, grenades, maps, game modes, and a fresh playable character. And most importantly, HATS that every great shooter deserves.
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to rally your squad, October 20 looks like the day Mycopunk truly goes all in.
