Wishlist Gang of Frogs on Steam Right Now
Megabit and indie developer Aska Studios have announced a new partnership for Gang of Frogs, an action-packed co-op shooter that puts players in control of a group of heavily armed frog outlaws. The game will be coming out in Early Access next year, so make sure to keep an eye out.
In Gang of Frogs, players take on the role of a fearless frog outlaw and fight their way through hordes of monsters and bugs across strange alien worlds. The game supports solo play as well as co-op for up to four players, with teams taking on dangerous raids against the galaxy’s ruling elite.
Combat is built around fast-paced action, while progression gives players plenty of ways to strengthen their characters. Players can collect powerful loot, unlock new skills, upgrade their gear, and build a deck of cards infused with old military technology. These tools will come in handy as the frogs attempt to take on an empire that has kept their kind down for generations.
With Gang of Frogs heading toward Early Access next year, Megabit and Aska Studios are opening development up to the community. Regular playtests will allow players to try new builds, test upcoming features, and provide direct feedback to the developers.
The first playtest runs from October 1 to October 4, with more planned throughout development. Weekly developer updates will also offer a closer look at the game’s progress, while the Discord community gives players another way to interact with the team.
With armed frogs, alien worlds, and plenty of chaotic co-op action, Gang of Frogs certainly has an unusual premise. It will be interesting to see how the game develops as players get their hands on it.
