The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline Launches This September on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

Solve the Mystery in The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline

The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline is bringing a dark and psychological take on Dante’s Divine Comedy to players this September 10. Developed by Italian indie studio ONE O ONE GAMES and published by Entalto Publishing, the first-person mystery thriller will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also planned for later this year.

The game will be available through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG at launch for $19.99, with a 10% discount during its first two weeks. Players can already try the Steam demo to get an early taste of its unsettling atmosphere and mysterious puzzles. Also, make sure to check out the official release date and gameplay trailer below.

The story follows Gabriele Alighieri, who returns to his family’s ancestral home as an ancient event approaches. Every 33 years, the barrier between our world and Hell begins to weaken. This forces Gabriele to confront a ritual and a destiny he has spent years trying to escape.

Players will explore two connected realities: the quiet and melancholic Villa and The Dive, a disturbing reflection of infernal depths. Along the way, they will collect missing pages of the Divine Comedy, solve esoteric riddles, and uncover diary entries. All while piecing together the troubled history of the Alighieri bloodline.

Rather than focusing on traditional horror, the developers aim to explore psychological fear and personal trauma. The game’s interpretation of Hell is much more internal, making Gabriele’s journey as much about confronting himself as surviving the unknown.

With its intriguing premise and Dante-inspired setting, The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline could be worth watching for fans of atmospheric mystery games.
