Siscia Games has released Update v1.009.0 for Pompeii: The Legacy, bringing one of the game’s biggest post-launch patches yet. Headlining the release is the new Plaza system, which adds both decorative and functional options for players looking to build more detailed and efficient Roman cities.
Beyond the Plaza, the update introduces several community-requested features designed to make city management smoother. Players can now clone buildings with the middle mouse button, load save files instantly by double-clicking them, and enjoy improved keyboard navigation in the Stock Panel. Navigation between buildings and houses has also become more seamless thanks to a new circular browsing system.
The patch also addresses several gameplay improvements. Sheep Farms now correctly produce both Meat and Wool, while trees grow continuously instead of updating only once each month. Siscia Games has also optimized the animation system to improve overall performance, alongside numerous localization fixes, text corrections, and bug fixes affecting gameplay and save files.
To celebrate the Plaza Update, Pompeii: The Legacy is currently available at a 44% discount on Steam, giving newcomers a good reason to jump in while offering returning players plenty of new content to explore.
Developer Zeljko Kos thanked the community for its continued bug reports and suggestions, noting that many of the changes in this update came directly from player feedback. The developer also confirmed that more improvements are already in the works.
Overall, this update makes Pompeii: The Legacy feel more polished, while showing the developer’s ongoing commitment to expanding and refining the city-building experience.
