Score a Hole-in-One in Golf 5 MAX
Golf 5 MAX has received a fresh demo update on Steam, giving players a chance to experience new content during the Six One Demo Days showcase. The retro-inspired arcade golf title, developed by Lenya Digital and published by AAA Game Studios, now introduces a brand-new desert-themed course and its first community tournament for a limited time.
The updated demo lets players tee off on the new “Dunes” course, featuring cactus-lined fairways and sandy hazards that add a fresh challenge to the game’s fast-paced arcade action. Players can also compete in the inaugural Founder’s Cup community tournament, aiming to post the lowest scores before the event ends on August 14, 2026.
Inspired by classic arcade golf games and wrapped in a nostalgic 1980s sports broadcast presentation, Golf 5 MAX blends accessible gameplay with the realistic physics of the Golf5 simulator series. The familiar three-click swing system returns, allowing players to balance precision and power while tackling increasingly difficult holes.
The full release will feature eight playable golfers, including Michael “Ol’ Reliable” Hoffman and Lachie “Long Ball” McDonald, along with five 18-hole courses. Players will also be able to improve five core skills like Power, Technique, Consistency, Accuracy, and Recovery to customize their playstyle.
Beyond traditional matches, Golf 5 MAX will launch with additional content such as Birdie-or-Bust Arcade Mode, online multiplayer, and International eGolf Federation tournaments. The game is scheduled to arrive on PC via Steam in Q4 2026 with English language support. Until then, this updated demo offers a fun preview of what’s shaping up to be a stylish and competitive arcade golf experience.
